These terms govern your use of the Ayurvedica app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
What Ayurvedica is
Ayurvedica scores food products and ingredients against traditional Ayurvedic principles (Vata, Pitta, Kapha), based on a quiz you take and the labels you scan. Ayurvedica is an educational and wellness tool, not a medical device or a substitute for professional medical advice. Your dosha result is a self-assessment, not a diagnosis. Always consult a qualified physician or Ayurvedic practitioner before making health or dietary decisions, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are taking medication.
Accounts
You need an account to use most of the app, created with an email and password or through Sign in with Apple. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use Ayurvedica.
Subscriptions
Ayurvedica offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions (Monthly and Annual) that unlock unlimited scans, AI-personalised weekly meal plans, and monthly Ayurvedic reports, billed through your Apple ID.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple ID account settings, under Subscriptions — Ayurvedica cannot cancel it for you.
- If a free trial is offered, it is shown on the purchase button before you subscribe; any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, and the subscription starts renewing when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
- Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region.
Free tier & usage limits
Without a subscription, scanning is limited to a fixed number of label analyses per month, and weekly meal plans use a fixed algorithmic rotation rather than AI personalisation. We may adjust these limits over time.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app: no attempting to bypass usage limits, reverse-engineer the service, scrape or resell its data, or use it in any way that violates applicable law.
Content & accuracy
Ingredient analysis is generated automatically from photos you take and public product databases, and may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate — always check a product's actual packaging, especially for allergens. Report anything that looks wrong using the "Retake the label photo" option in the scan results.
Account deletion & termination
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account in the app, which permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
Ayurvedica is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bethebiz sarl is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including decisions made based on its content.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the app after a change means you accept the update.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Luxembourg.
